I have really enjoyed the Facebook Live Challenge, it’s been really awesome, thanks for that Erin, what a legend you are. The thing I have enjoyed most is to discard the perfectionism.
I’ve also found that it’s given me an opportunity to be mindful that this is a joy to me to do something I love, and to be able to share that experience with you guys and you have all echoed the things that I struggle with, especially how isolating it can be, and I realise that I don’t feel so isolated anymore.
I have learnt so much about ways to manage social media posts through apps, recommendations for websites to design marketing materials, ideas and suggestions for content to put out on various platforms. How to pitch my products. I could go on but space is limited. Additionally Erin is always happy to answer questions or bring someone else in to the mix who is an expert in that area. I can confidently say I continue to learn new things every month from the group and look forward to what is coming up in the future.
Thank you Erin and all who support you.
Erin’s set up quite a unique networking and support opportunity for businesses. I joined The Cocoon in March with the expectation of being part of a networking group that is supportive as well as ideas-generating and it’s been brilliant. My photography business doesn’t follow traditional hours and every week is different, as with lots of small businesses, so being a member of a networking group that is flexible is key. I simply cannot attend networking meeting which are a fixed days each week or month, so this enables me to join in, and learn lots from others - informally as well as formally through the brilliant masterclasses.
The group is really friendly and offering of the right amount of advice when needed and the challenges that Erin has posed to us so far have been fantastic. I love having someone help focus me on things like marketing and goal-setting as these are jobs that slip down the priority list all too quickly when you work for yourself. I can thoroughly recommend joining The Cocoon, it’s a fantastic opportunity not to be missed.

I’m a life coach and a krav maga instructor. Despite a successful career in the NHS and subsequently the corporate world, I felt restless and unfulfilled.
After experiencing the profound and transformative effects personally of being coached; I took the decision to train as a life coach and work with people who struggle with confidence issues and limiting beliefs.
Coaching and teaching krav maga enables me to help people find their brilliance so they can live their lives being impossibly awesome. It brings me joy and challenge and I wouldn’t want it any other way!
When I am not working on things that can help me help others, I am usually either baking, reading, or getting outside with my husband Owen and our slightly neurotic terrier Red.
